Project 5k to 55k

15 runners who have never run an ultra before. 5 months. Can they run 55km? Absolutely they can!The project took a group of ultra-curious runners through a 5 month training plan. With monthly meet ups, a training plan, and crucially the support of each other, they are building up the miles one step at a time.In collaboration with intoultra.

Run Yoga

Into yoga? Into running? Maybe you're a yogi who runs, but wants a confidence boost to hit the trails? Maybe you're a runner who struggles to find the time to practice yoga too? Maybe one of them has captured you but the other hasn't. Yet. Or maybe you just want to spend a few hours, retreating from the day in the beautiful Wye Valley, doing some yoga and some running and then sipping a tasty drink?A series of sessions with Lucy (for the yoga) & Polly (for the running) showed how yoga & running can be best friends.
In collaboration with make + move.

Mathern 5k

Supported by Mathern and District Village Hall.

Hear from a runner

Runner smiling with medal
"Last year I signed up to Mathern couch to 5k programme led by Polly and I'm so glad I did! Polly was incredibly knowledgeable and such a great motivator, making running feel accessible to someone who firmly believed I was not a runner. She even managed to make running on some cold, dark and wet evenings fun (which i didn't think was possible!) The programme has given me the foundations and confidence to continue on running (and enjoy it!) and achieve things I never thought I could.."

Runner, Mathern 5k (and now a running club member)
